$30 for 30 Years

In recognition of our 30 year anniversary, Project Sanctuary is asking supporters to contribute one dollar for each year we’ve been providing services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. This is especially vital this year as State funds have been cut and more cuts are anticipated.

Volunteer Readers Needed

We always need new readers.  Every school we serve has more children requiring reading assistance than we can serve.  So developing new volunteers in critical.  We ask for one hour per week for seven months (Oct through April) excluding school holidays.

Volunteers of America Thrift Store

The Volunteers of America Stores offer a wide selection of new and gently used merchandise.  More than 2,500 items are added to the floor each day, including 1,000 clothing items for children, teens, men and women. 

Proceeds benefit more than 20 human services to help underserved individuals and families in Pennsylvania. 

Volunteers of America Thrift Stores support the organization’s mission by providing help to people in emergency situations. When tragedy or disaster strikes, the organization provides free clothing to individuals and families facing a crisis. Based on referrals from churches and social service agencies, people in need are given vouchers to use in the stores.
